Visiting Home

Last week we were able to take a trip up to Salt Lake to visit my friends and family. It felt so good to escape this hot weather, and enjoy some well needed time outside in the cool air. We did so many things it felt like I was there for much longer! One of my very FAVORITE things to do this time of year is to go to the Farmers Market at Pioneer Park! It is so fun to listen to the bands, Carter loved all the dogs, sample all the fruit, and scope out the crafts and jewelry. I am a sucker for flee Markets! We had a blast spending the morning walking through the market and eating the most amazing Belgian waffles from Broges! Saturday was a day out to lunch with the girls to Gardner Village, The guys had fun golfing, and then to my five year reunion that night. (shame on all my friends who didn't come... you know exactly who you are!!) The best part about visiting home is spending time with my family of course, but also playing outside! Carter loves the yard! He loved to play in the pool and sit by the fire at night. We spent every second we could outside. The day I left, we went to Thanksgiving point with my Mom, Sis, and kids. It was such a beautiful day spent just roaming around in the gardens. I swear you feel like your in a fairytale there, we had such a fun time together! It was great to see my family, they are so awesome. It is fun to see thier relationships grow with Carter, He really loves his cousins, Nana and Baba!
